Working Like Cinderella
While trying to meet a writing deadline, I "hired" my teenage son to handle the housework.
"What do you want me to do today?" he asked one morning. I quickly rattled off a list--"Do the laundry, clean the house, go to the grocery store, and fix dinner." Without missing a beat he asked, "Then can I go to the ball?"
