Clarence Thomas Reevaluates Life
In a recent speech, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas said his brother's death caused him to reevaluate his own life. Baring his soul, as he often does in public talks, Thomas added, "Work became irrelevant. Being on the Supreme Court became meaningless." Thomas said he realized that the three F's—faith, family, friends—are paramount, "not who is smartest, not who has written the most opinions or the most dissents."
