Dial 0 if You're Nervous
Have you ever gotten nervous before having to make a phone call? You aren't alone. According to an article on Yahoo Finance, "Millennials have a reputation for being married to their phones: we text on them, we email on them, we navigate with them, we order Seamless on them, and then we play Candy Crush on them while eating our app-ordered Pad Thai … 80% of us even sleep with them."
But despite this phone connection there is one thing Millennials still don't like to do with their phones—talk. It's called "telephone anxiety," and according to one expert here's the source of our phone anxiety: "Whether you've talked on the phone a lot or not, you still have to respond in the moment." Without the option of editing yourself, "you're more vulnerable." In other words, if the phone feels high-pressure, that's because it is high-pressure. "You have to respond immediately, so there's a greater likelihood you'll choke."
Possible Preaching Angle:
There is another solution: just don't worry about editing your life. Find freedom in and through Christ to be accepted by God the Father.
