It is the simple yet world-rocking confession of every true Christian: Jesus is Lord. Matt Woodley works out the implications of that all-important confession in the three-part series Jesus Is Lord: Jesus Reigns over the Beauty and Brokenness of This World. The series, based in Colossians, looks at three of the domains ruled by Christ:

Jesus, Lord of Creation
Jesus, Lord of the New Creation
Jesus, Lord of the Cross

The irony of that third title especially captivates me, but what a lineup of themes. Great is our Lord and greatly to be praised!
