Tullian Tchividjian: Why God Ordains Tears
I've heard, read, and preached lots of sermons about suffering, but this week's featured sermon by Tullian Tchividjian—"Job: Center Stage"—left me profoundly moved. It's a beautiful model of theological depth and biblical exegesis combined with pastoral sensitivity. Here's one of my favorite lines: "To grieve as a Christian is an act of worship …. because it is a statement of faith that one day things won't be this way …. Whether you realize it or not, there is a song underneath your grieving that cries out for Christ's return."
This week we also feature:
- Sermon Series: The Gospel of Suffering, by Tullian Tchividjian. Through the crucible of suffering, God will vindicate his glory, sanctify you, and defeat the devil.
