Theology of Nakedness
We all have a huge problem—we're standing naked before a holy God and we need covering. In this week's featured sermon, "Total Nakedness," Kevin Kim explores two gospel-centered truths. First, be brutally honest about your nakedness. Kim reminds us that we can't live the Christian life while we blithely ignore the stench of our sin. (He uses the illustration of vacuuming around a pile of horse manure in your living room while ignoring the manure.) But, secondly, receive the wonderful gift that only Christ can give—his righteousness. That's the only covering that isn't a cover-up.
