It's not nice to call people dogs. But that's exactly what the apostle Paul did in Philippians 3 when he told us to watch out for dogs or evildoers. For Paul, these dogs weren't just a nuisance. They were vicious imposters spreading an insidious heresy—justification through something else besides Christ alone.
