Bill Hybels: The Highest-Impact Sermon Series
Bill Hybels claims that it took four decades to write his latest and highest-impact sermon series. "Simplify" has a deceptively easy-going title, but according to Bill, "Simplify is brutally honest and painstakingly practical. It actually provides solutions. It will help anybody who is ready to move into a future that looks far different from their past." We've teamed-up with Willow Creek and Tyndale Publishers to offer two of the exceptional sermons from this series. Check out the first sermon here—"Simplify: Part 1." But you'll also want to check out the new book, Simplify from Tyndale and the free church/preaching resources as well.
This week we also have a true gem from veteran preacher and poetic writer Lee Eclov. In this masterpiece of a preaching skills article—Prepare Your Soul to Preach—Eclov offers a banquet of rich food for any preacher's soul. This is an article to savor. So read it once, then print it and read it again. It's the kind of article you need to read slowly and prayerfully. Seriously, it is that good!
