7 Reasons Why Preaching Isn't Dead
Is preaching dead? That's what some in our culture are arguing. Krish Kandiah, president of the London School of Theology, gives 7 Reasons Why Preaching isn't Dead—or at least how we kill it. But then he trumps those seven arguments by providing seven reasons why preaching is still very much alive and well—when practiced correctly. This is a provocative piece that will challenge your perspective and renew your hope in the power of preaching.
This week we also feature the final three sermons in Professor Scott Wenig's series on that dark and dreary sounding Book of Ecclesiastes. Here's his intro to the first sermon: "I want to talk with you about the most controversial subject in the church. It's not homosexuality, it's not the use of the sign gifts, and it's not even the role of women. It's money." Read all three sermons.
