Easter Restores What's Broken
Russell Moore, in his fabulous Easter sermon based on Genesis 3 and John 20, reminds us that the Bible begins with a story of something that went wrong in a garden. It was a wreck. A wreck that you and I have then repeated in all of our lives. But on that first Easter Sunday, in another garden, God started to reverse the world's wreck. On that first Easter, Mary saw God reversing the whole story of the universe. This is a sermon loaded with the good news of Christ's resurrection.
Can you let your sermons go? I mean, all week you work with the text, and then on Sunday you pour yourself out before God and others, and then you have to move on. In this week's video from our "The Authentic Preacher" series, Pastor H.B. Charles shares what he's been learning about how to recover from Sunday.
