Homosexuality and God's Big Story
If you haven't preached on homosexuality it won't ever get easier. This week we feature an interview with Pastor Jim Nicodem who recently finished a 3-part sermon series on a biblical view of this issue. As Nicodem explains in our interview, throughout this series he tried to ask, "How do we have frank conversations about what God's Word says about difficult subjects and yet still keep our front door thrown open wide?" That's not easy, but I commend Nicodem, first, for addressing the topic, and then for preaching with clarity, truth, and tenderness.
Also, check out his first sermon in Nicodem's three-part series. He covers a lot of ground as he views our sexuality through the lens of God's Big Story—Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Restoration. It will provide some great food for thought and preaching ideas as you pray about how to address this issue in your own context.

P.S. This past week I had the privilege of coaching some preachers in Cambodia and leading two workshops for preachers in Singapore. I'm happy to report that the preaching of God's Word is alive and well across the globe. I praise God for the local church, truly the hope of the world.
