Lost? Confused? Try These 'Sneakairs' on for Size
It's a classic travel scenario: you're in a new city, you're trying to find that museum or coffee shop, and it's just not happening. Maybe you made a wrong turn, or maybe you accidentally punched the wrong address into your phone. EasyJet, a European airline, is working on a way to fix that—and their solution will be as easy as putting on your shoes. The company is developing "Sneakairs," shoes that "will tell you which way to go by sending vibrations to your feet when it's time to make a turn": e.g., when you need to make a left turn, you'll feel your left shoe vibrate. The shoes are also there for you when you get lost and also for when you've arrived: "[i]f you've missed a turn, both shoes will vibrate twice … Three vibrations mean you've reached your destination."
